New retailers coming to Brent Cross Town

Brent Cross Town has announced two exciting brands coming to the new high street, with one opening its doors later this month.

The first hospitality venue opening at Brent Cross Town will be by the Urban Leisure Group and the first new grocery store will be none other than Co-op. 

Co-op’s 3,000 sq ft store will bring everyday essentials to residents’ doorstep. The well-known store offers a wide range of fresh and healthy produce, hot food, Fairtrade products and more. The store is set to open in time for Christmas this year. More information on this will be available here.

Urban Leisure Group’s 7,400 sq ft venue will be the first hospitality offering in Brent Cross Town located in the heart of new public space, Neighbourhood Square. Locals and visitors will enjoy seasonal dishes, and an excellent selection of drinks to enjoy with indoor and outdoor seating area. This will be the 10th venue by Urban Leisure Group, the team behind Alice House in West Hampstead and Queens Park, Coin Laundry on Exmouth Market and Heist Bank in Paddington. This venue is set to open its doors in Spring next year.

Councillor Anne Clarke, Cabinet Member for Culture, Leisure, Arts & Sport, said: “Across our flagship Brent Cross Town development we’re focused on opening the kinds of community amenities that will benefit our local residents and will have a positive impact in the area. The new co-op is a fantastic new addition to the new neighbourhood and will focus on recruiting locally wherever possible.”

Teams at Brent Cross Town are working closely with the retailers to ensure employment opportunities are available to the local community. This announcement marks a new milestone for the wider regeneration programme. Once complete, Brent Cross Town will have 6,700 new homes, 3m sq ft of offices, a high street, three redeveloped schools, an  50 acres of parks and playing fields and over 50 restaurants and shops.
