To support the delivery of the Brent Cross Cricklewood regeneration scheme, Barnet Council acquired several leasehold and freehold properties, alongside commercial premises, and approved the decision to relocate tenants living in the Whitefield Estate to new, purpose-built accommodation.
Three compulsory purchase orders (CPOs) were made to facilitate the Brent Cross Cricklewood Scheme. CPO1 to facilitate Brent Cross North and CPO2 to facilitate Brent Cross South. The additional CPO3 was made to facilitate Brent Cross West Thameslink Station.
London and Quadrant (L&Q) has been appointed to build and manage the new replacement homes on plots 53 and 54 at Brent Terrace, while Argent Related will build new replacement homes on Plot 12 for the Whitefield Estate residents in Brent Cross South.
