Repair Café returns: sign up
January 30, 2026
Following two successful repair cafés at Brent Cross Town last year, Barnet Council is hosting another free Repair Café on Sunday 22 February.
Whether it’s a broken electrical appliance or wobbly bike, or torn jumper, let our skilled volunteers help you fix them for free. This is also an opportunity for you to act towards sustainable ways of living by reducing waste, reusing materials, and repairing items rather than throwing them away. Repair Cafés are also a great way to save you money instead of buying new items, and you can meet your neighbours living in the area and from across the borough.
The Repair Café will be hosted at Brent Cross Town’s The WorkShop, Claremont Way, NW2 1FE, on Sunday 22 February from 11am to 3pm. You must book your repair slot in advance to avoid disappointment; more details and slots can be found here.
If you’ve not been to a Repair Café before, you can get an idea on how our last repair café went and hear from some attendees about how they found their experience here.
Barnet Council is committed to becoming one of London’s most sustainable boroughs, and we encourage you to join us on this journey. Learn more about how Barnet is becoming more sustainable here.
Getting here
We ask attendees to consider the environment and arrive by foot, bicycle, or public transport where possible. There are several bike stands on Claremont Way. You can arrive at Brent Cross Town by using the new Brent Cross West station or the nearest tube station which is Brent Cross, on the Edgware branch of the Northern line. You can also stop at the Claremont Way bus stop for service numbers 102, 189 and C11.
Brent Cross Town is the new park town being delivered in partnership between Related Argent and Barnet Council, at the heart of the Brent Cross Cricklewood regeneration programme.
