Let’s take care of our neighbourhood
June 30, 2026
This week (Monday 29 June – Sunday 5 July), is Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Awareness Week, and at Brent Cross Town, we’re encouraging everyone to play their part in looking after our neighbourhood and one another.
What does Anti-social behaviour (ASB) look like?
Anti-social behaviour can take many forms, including intimidation, harassment, hate crime, excessive, fly tipping and other negative behaviour that affects people’s quality of life. Find out more details about ASB guidance here.
ASB Awareness Week is a chance for us to highlight the effect these behaviours can have on communities, while also helping people understand where to go for advice, support and reporting.
Barnet’s Community Safety team are hosting a series of pop-up hubs this summer where you can raise concerns, get advice and support and find out more about the work being done to keep Barnet safe. They will be available at Brent Cross Shopping Centre on Tuesday 30 June from 2pm to 4pm.
At Brent Cross Town, the Cricklewood Safer Neighbourhoods Team are organising a walk and talk event at Claremont Park on Monday 13 July between 11am and 1pm. There’s no need to book in advance, simply turn up to join the walk. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet the Cricklewood Safer Neighbourhoods Team again and raise any concerns or questions you may have on Saturday 25 July where they’ll be hosting an information stall at Claremont Park from 2.30pm.
This week is a helpful reminder that we all have a role to play in keeping our community safe and welcoming.
Report it
Please report any anti-social behaviour, fly-tipping or other issues online. If it is an emergency, call 999. You can find our reporting guide here.
If you would like to talk to us about any questions, concerns or feedback you may have about the development or about the local area, come see us at our monthly community drop-in sessions at Brent Cross Town’s Visitor Pavilion. These are held on the third Thursday of every month, from 5.30pm to 6.30pm. Our next drop-in will be on Thursday 16 July.
Keep up to date on the latest news and developments across the Brent Cross Cricklewood regeneration programme by subscribing to our monthly e-newsletter here.
