Autumn events at Brent Cross Town

Brent Cross Town’s popular activities programme is back, and this October half-term is filled with free exciting events and activities to keep kids and families entertained.

Events and activities range from children’s movie screenings to arts and crafts, sports games, as well as wellbeing classes for adults. Activities will run between Saturday 26 October to Sunday 3 November. All events and activities are free; however, some may require booking. Here’s a list of the family-friend events taking place throughout the week:

Family Cinema
From Monday 28 October to Wednesday 30 October, lunchtime movies will be played and start at 11am.

No booking required, just drop in. Free popcorn will be served.

Location: The Visitor Pavilion, Claremont Road

Halloween art workshop with local artist Anna van der Poorten

Every day from Thursday 31 October to Sunday 3 November

Two sessions per day: 12pm to 2.30pm and 3pm to 5pm

Suitable for all ages, no booking required, just drop in

Location: Claremont Park Cabin, Claremont Park

Skateboarding with the Keep Rolling Project

Join skateboarding lessons designed to empower young people aged 7-15. These sessions are suitable for beginners, and girls-only classes are available.

Saturday 26 October and Saturday 2 November from 1pm to 4pm

Wall Climbing by The Outdoor Education Company

The 7.5m high climbing wall is coming back for children above 5 years and adults to enjoy.

Baseball session at The 108

Test your batting skills at the biggest indoor baseball and softball facility in Europe, The 108. This is open to children above 8 years and adults.

Saturday 26 October and Saturday 2 November from 10am to 12pm

Wellbeing classes for adults

One of Brent Cross Town’s four key pledges is to develop a place where everyone can flourish, no matter their age, gender, ability or interests. To support ehis, there have been adult-only wellbeing events taking place throughout the year, such as yoga classes, ukulele workshops and women’s running club which have been a huge success. To continue and celebrate everyone in the community, there will be adults-only events this autumn half-term:

Yoga by Nadia from N’Dazzle

Enjoy a holistic, rejuvenating yoga session that leaves you feeling energised and more confident.

Sound Bath for Adults 

A Sound bath is a relaxing experience where you’re immersed in deep sound vibrations to help with stress, healing and tension. This 75-minute session is open to everyone, including those who have had a sound bath before or not. If this will be your first time joining this experience, don’t worry – you will be welcomed into a calm space and guided by a Chi Sound Healing expert. Bring a yoga mat if you have one, and a blanket to enjoy the full experience.

Women’s Running Club

Whether you’re an experienced runner, or want to start running, this group encourages you to join and be a part of a supportive and empowering run.

Every Thursday at 9.30am for an hour. No booking required, simply come along.

Location: Cricklewood Coffee Roasters, Claremont Way
