A Fun Summer at Brent Cross Town

July 4, 2023

Brent Cross Town has launched its summer programme and it’s full of fun events and activities, including free sports, games, art workshops and wellbeing activities for the local and wider community.

The summer programme will start on Saturday 22 July and run throughout the holidays until Saturday 3 September; with events and activities happening from Thursday to Sunday each week.

Events have been designed with feedback from residents at our monthly drop-ins and via an online survey. We asked residents about the type of activities they would like to see at Brent Cross Town and will all be delivered by local organisations and groups, creating a real community feel to this year’s summer programme.

44 sessions in total are planned to be as inclusive as possible, with family friendly events and a programme of health and wellbeing activities for adults too.

More details on this event will be shared soon.

Leader of Barnet Council, Councillor Barry Rawlings said: “Brent Cross Town’s summer programme is back and better than ever. It’s great to see the activities on offer guided by resident feedback and run by local groups and individuals. A real summer of fun is promised!”

Morwenna Hall, Partner at Related Argent, added: “We’ve been engaging with local residents and businesses and working with a number of groups supported by our Community Fund to pull together this fantastic range of activities hosted by local people for the community to enjoy during the summer at Brent Cross Town.  We hope that the variety of different opportunities available throughout the summer will be enjoyed by many and will encourage people to find time to be active and creative and have fun.”
