The Brent Cross Town Community Fund 2026 is now open for applications, and you’re invited to apply.

This year, the Brent Cross Town Community Fund is again supporting community-led projects that focus on improving education, skills, training and employment prospects for Barnet residents.

The total fund pot is £50,000, with individual grants between £3,000 and £10,000 available to community organisations across Barnet.

Following a shortlisting process by a panel of local judges, it’s then over to a public to vote allowing the community to have the final say on the projects they’d most like to see funded. fund for their favourites.

How to apply

You can apply through the Action Funder platform which allows community groups to easily submit a short written or video pitch. It also means that groups that may not be successful in this funding round would have their application made available to other funders. The full criteria of who can apply for the grants is as follows:

• Informal and formal community groups

• Local charities and local branches of national charities

• Schools and educational organisations

• Not-for-profit organisations

• Residents’ associations

• Social enterprises

• Previous winners

The Brent Cross Town Community Fund started in 2019 and has since supported 69 charities, community organisations and individuals working to make a positive impact in the local area and has awarded £330,000 to local projects. Brent Cross Town is the new park town at the heart of the Brent Cross Cricklewood regeneration programme, which is being delivered in partnership between Related Argent and Barnet Council.
