Chase New Homes development
October 5, 2022
As part of the long-term plans for the area, the site has planning permission to be redeveloped for housing to provide 251 homes. This is part of the existing outline planning permission for the regeneration of the Brent Cross Cricklewood area. Not only will this mean new housing sooner in the overall development programme, but also has the potential to have a positive impact on air quality and traffic in the area by removing the HGV traffic from Claremont Road and other surrounding residential neighbourhoods.
Construction updates:
- Chase New Homes development consists of three blocks. Block 1 will consist of six storeys, whilst Block 2 will have five, and Block 3 will have eight.
- Construction of Block 1 has reached the sixth floor concrete slab stage, with scaffolding and bricklaying underway. Internal fit out works are to begin in February.
- Block 2 frame is now complete. Scaffolding and bricklaying are due to begin.
- Works on Block 3 (which is located adjacent to the railway line) have begun..
- Groundworks across the site are nearing completion, with all new roadways now in place.
The Chase New Homes team is working hard to keep noise, dust, and vibration levels to a minimum and are monitoring them continuously.
Work Hours
Working hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with no Saturday working. On the odd occasion when a concrete pour may overrun, the team will finish 6pm at the latest.
