Clitterhouse Playing Fields Application Submitted

November 25, 2022

Thank you to everyone who has taken part in the different rounds of consultation for the proposals for Clitterhouse Playing Fields at Brent Cross Town.

Our partner, Related Argent has now submitted a planning application to Barnet Council as the Local Planning Authority for the proposed improvements to Clitterhouse Playing Fields.

Three public consultations ran in October 2021, March 2022 and September 2022 inviting the community to share their thoughts on the designs of the playing fields. Almost 700 people in total visited the in-person exhibition events and viewed the consultation online. Your feedback, ideas and comments shared during the consultation periods have helped shape and refine the proposals for Clitterhouse Playing Fields.

Next steps

The Local Planning Authority will now carry out statutory consultation on the planning application for Clitterhouse Playing Fields which will be open to the public for a 6-week (42 day) period until the 6 January 2023. The statutory consultation period is an opportunity for you to view all the planning documents and make your comments directly to the Local Planning Authority.

Comments will be taken into consideration by the Local Planning Authority in their determination of the planning application.

You can find all the application documents and make your formal comments by visiting Barnet Council Planning Team’s public access web page and using the case reference number 22/5617/FUL. The full website address is here.
