Dressed to Impress, Halloween Dog Parade

November 5, 2026

Claremont Park was full of colour, creative costumes and wagging tails as almost one thousand residents and visitors came together on Saturday 31 October for the first ever Halloween Dog Parade at Brent Cross Town. All proceeds from the event are being donated to Pets As Therapy (PAT).

Blessed with sunny autumn weather, the event attracted people from across the local area and beyond, with many arriving in their own Halloween costumes to join in the fun alongside their four-legged friends. From spooky skeletons and pumpkins to witches, superheroes and other imaginative creations, both dogs and owners embraced the occasion, delighting crowds gathered around the park. In total, 40 dogs participated and joined the parade.

The highlight of the day was the parade itself, with dogs proudly showing off their costumes as they made their way through Claremont Park. Families lined the route, cheering participants on, snapping photos and enjoying the festive atmosphere. There was plenty of excitement as judges selected winners in a number of categories, including Best Dressed Dog (pictured left, above), Best Homemade Costume and Best Dog and Owner Costume (pictured right, above), recognising some of the most creative and memorable entries of the day.

Councillor Anne Clarke, Cricklewood Ward Councillor and Cabinet Member for Culture, Leisure, Arts & Sport, said: “This was such a fun event. It was great to see so many creative costumes and many people out to watch the spectacle. Further, it was good to see local businesses like Gussy’s and Suaro the Dog Walker. I do hope Brent Cross Town will have this event again!”

Over at Brent Cross Town’s dog-friendly café, Arthur’s Coffee and Deli, owners could get free photos of their dogs taken. Professional dog trainers from North London’s Luke’s Dog School led the parade and brought fun training equipment for the dogs to play with.

Visitors also enjoyed a range of stalls, live music and dog-focused businesses, offering refreshments, treats and advice on pet health and wellbeing.

Representatives from Transport for London (TfL) were also at the event, giving attendees the opportunity to learn more about West London Orbital consultation which closes on 18 November.

A big thank you to everyone who attended the event, we can’t wait to see what costumes next year’s parade will bring.
