Brent Cross Town has launched today (14 October) a public consultation, and we want to hear your views. The proposals are for a new area of green open space called Claremont Green (known as Brent Terrace Park Part 1) in the Outline Planning Permission).

Claremont Green will be located at the junction of Claremont Park (immediately east of the Brent Terrace exit) and forms a part of the wider Brent Cross Cricklewood Regeneration programme. You can click on the maps for a clearer view.

This green space will be an important destination for the whole community to use, including to play and relax.

Claremont Green will also create a new pedestrian connection between Brent Terrace and the future Spine Road, as well as join between Claremont Park and the future open spaces at Brent Cross Town.

The online consultation will be live from today Monday 14 October until Friday 1 November, and there will be two consultation events where you can learn more about the proposals at the Visitor Pavilion on Claremont Road, NW2 1FE on:

• Thursday 24 October, 4pm to 7pm
•  Sunday 27 October, 1pm to 4pm

Members of the project team, including representatives from Brent Cross Town, and the architects, will be available to answer any questions you may have about the proposals. You can also enjoy some tea and cake.

What happens next?

As there is already Outline Planning Permission for the Brent Cross Town area, a Reserved Matters Applications will be submitted to Barnet Council in December. This application will take into consideration the feedback where possible, and provide more information on the scale, appearance, design and other details.

Brent Cross Town is the new park town being delivered in partnership between Related Argent and Barnet Council, at the heart of the Brent Cross Cricklewood regeneration programme.
