Helping local business go green

July 17, 2024

Join us on Tuesday 23 July at Brent Cross Town for Barnet’s Business Breakfast Briefing.

You’ll have the chance to learn more about what free support is available to help businesses become more sustainable.

As well as learning about the benefits of reducing your carbon footprint, saving money, attracting new customers and forming new local partnerships with other businesses;

you’ll have the chance to meet with organisations from Barnet and beyond who can provide free advice and support on the best ways businesses can become more sustainable.

Council officers, sustainability experts and local councillors will also attend the breakfast event and share more about what the council’s target of becoming a Net Zero council by 2042 means for you as business owners. This event will be a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about sustainability across the borough, share your views, and connect with fellow business owners.

There will be stalls hosted by North London Waste Authority and Barnet Street Scene, Barnet Skills Centre, BOOST, Smarter Society, Better Futures, and more, offering practical advice on how businesses can reduce their carbon footprint, find local suppliers, cut costs and partner with the council.

This breakfast briefing will be hosted by Brent Cross Town at The Visitor Pavilion from 9am to 10.45am. This event is free, but you must register here.
