Join Barnet’s first ever Climate Action Month (BCAM) which takes place between 10 June and 7 July. The aim of BCAM is to raise awareness of climate change and sustainability in Barnet; and help achieve its target of becoming a net zero carbon borough by 2042.

Barnet Council is working closely with community groups, including those who are already active on the environment and anyone who wants to get involved in this exciting month. Share your plans on what you’ll be doing to help Barnet become a net-zero borough, and your event will be added to the BCAM calendar and showcased through the council’s channels. Whether it’s a small or big event, we want to create a vibrant calendar of events that are open to residents of all ages from across the borough and inspire people to join.

Your activity or event must take place between 10 June to 7 July, and is linked to sustainability, climate change or net zero (e.g. gardening, crafting with sustainable materials, walking tours, exhibition).

BCAM events can also include:

• Regular activities promoting climate change and sustainability.
• Events already scheduled during this period for inclusion in our calendar.
• Events you’re considering hosting during this time.
