London Mural Festival at Brent Cross Town
September 11, 2024
Brent Cross Town is taking part in London’s biggest annual street art celebration, the London Mural Festival (which runs between 5 September to 29 September).
Brent Cross Town will be celebrating this festival by holding a free ‘Paint the Maze’ workshop, which is open to children and adults of all ages. The aim of the event is to gather as many people as possible to help create and colour in a large-scale mural. The workshop will be led by the talented artist and doodle maker, HATCH.
This workshop will take place on Saturday 14 September at Claremont Park, from 11am to 4pm. To avoid queues, we recommend that you please book a place in advance, especially if you will be joining the workshop as a group. You can book your free ticket here.
Barnet Council Cabinet Member for Culture, Leisure, Arts & Sports, and Cricklewood Ward Member, Councillor Anne Clarke, said: “I am delighted to see one of London’s biggest celebrations of art and culture here at Brent Cross Town. Barnet is full of diverse communities and is rich in culture, and that is certainly something to be celebrated, especially through art. I encourage anyone looking to get involved in a fun, family-friendly activity, to join us in creating this large colourful mural, and if you haven’t yet been, the maze is a really fun and free activity”
