Calling experienced operators from the voluntary sector, community interest companies and other relevant interested organisations
We’re looking for an experienced operator from the voluntary sector, a community interest company or any other relevant interested organisation to run our first dedicated community space at Brent Cross Town. This is an exciting chance to be part of this exciting new neighbourhood, and a unique opportunity to help shape this space and the activities it provides from the beginning.
Our vision for our first new community space is to create a welcoming, flexible space that provides activities and support for people living nearby and complements community activities already offered in the local area.
There is no doubt the area is transforming, and we are passionate about ensuring our communities in Barnet benefit from the change happening in the area; and that everyone can access the opportunities this new development will bring.
How to get involved?
We’re holding open days on Thursday 7 and Friday 8 August from 9.30am to 11.30am at Brent Cross Town’s Visitor Pavilion, 145 Claremont Road, London, NW2 1FE. You will have the opportunity to:
- Visit the community space
- Meet the team
- Explore how the space is developing
- Discover the part you could play in bringing this new place to life.

Community space and events survey
In Autumn 2024, we reached out to residents and resident associations, businesses and community groups to share with us their views on how our community space could look like, as well as future events held there. The survey received nearly 200 survey responses over the course of three months.
These responses have held inform us on the next steps, and we’re now looking for an experienced operator from the voluntary sector, a community interest company and other relevant interested organisation to run this first dedicated community space, which is located on Merchant Street, opposite Conductor House. Feedback on events at Brent Cross Town will, and has bee used to create our event programme for 2025.
