Spring Break At Brent Cross Town

The Spring break is starting soon and there are free exciting activities taking place at Brent Cross Town to keep the kids entertained.

From outdoor games to popular art sessions, kids have plenty of fun activities to look forward to during this break.

Spring Art and Craft Workshops

The popular Claremont Park cabin opens on Friday 7 to Sunday 16 April to hold art and craft workshops. Kids will enjoy creative tasks making kites, spring baskets, tissue paper flowers and more.

All workshops are free, drop-in and run on a first come first serve basis.

The art workshops will be run by community artist Anna Van der Poorten who has worked with communities on carnivals, parades and installations.

Here’s a schedule of when the workshops will run at the Claremont Park cabin:

Friday 7 to Monday 10 April 
Morning session 11am – 1.30pm
Afternoon session 2pm – 4pm

Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 April 
Morning session 11am – 1.30pm
Afternoon session 2pm – 4pm

Friday 14 April
Morning session 11am – 1.30pm
Afternoon session 2pm – 4pm

Saturday 15 April
Afternoon session 1.30pm – 4pm

Sunday 16 April
Morning session 11am – 1.30pm
Afternoon session 2pm – 4pm

 

F.U.S.E. Outdoor Kids Games

Kids can come and get active with fun social games at Claremont Park on Thursday 13 April from 12pm to 2pm.

The outdoor games will be facilitated by previous Brent Cross Town Community Fund recipients F.U.S.E. The youth project aims to promote wellbeing and teach young people useful life skills through a range of activities such as team sports, cooking, creative arts, group discussions and more.

The games are suitable for children aged above 8 (under 8s are welcome accompanied by an adult).

 

Enjoy a bite to eat or award-winning coffee

While the kids work up an appetite, don’t forget there is a mix of shops and restaurants for you to enjoy. Some restaurants also have an exciting new Spring menu launched.

You have the choice of visiting the award-winning Cricklewood Coffee Roasters on Claremont Way, as well as trying mouth-watering woodfired pizza from Happy Face Pizza, a delicious pastry from Karma Bread Bakehouse or a hot panini or ice cream from Gussy’s Ice Cream Parlour.
