Spring Fun at Brent Cross Town

Join the exciting activities and events for kids that will be taking place at Brent Cross Town from Friday 5 April to Sunday 14 April. All workshops are free and no booking is required, but they will run on a first come first serve basis.

Arts and Crafts Workshops

The popular Claremont Park cabin will open for kids will enjoy creative tasks making kites, spring baskets, tissue paper flowers and more. The workshops will be run by community artists Anna Van der Poorten and Holly Burrows who have worked with communities on carnivals, parades and installations. Here’s a schedule of when the workshops will run at the Claremont Park cabin:

Friday 5 to Monday 8 April 
Morning session 11.30am – 1.30pm
Afternoon session 2.30pm – 4.30pm

Friday 12 to Sunday 14 April 
Morning session 11.30am – 1.30pm
Afternoon session 2.30pm – 4.30pm

Sports games

Join local team Brent Bulls, who will be teaching basketball skills at the ball court at the top of Claremont Park. Brent Bulls was founded in 2020 and help participants to work on their fitness, teamwork, and leadership skills. The two skills workshops will take place on Saturday 6 April and Saturday 13 April from 2pm to 4pm.

Brent Cross Football Academy will be holding kids ‘beat the goalie’ sessions in Claremont Park from Tuesday 9 April to Thursday 11 April from 2 to 4pm. Brent Cross Football Academy is a community club that trains kids from 3 to 14 years. Whether you’re a total beginner or a football fanatic, come down, have fun and test your skills.

Claremont Park and The Exploratory Park are also both open and offer playground areas, green space, basketball and skateboarding areas and equipment for everyone to use and enjoy every day.

Spring Nature Trail

While you’re here, why not take part in the Spring Nature Trail? Pick up your free worksheet from the Visitor Pavilion and find out how much you know about local wildlife. When you’re done, head back to the Visitor Pavilion to collect your reward.

Enjoy a bite to eat or award-winning coffee

While the kids work up an appetite, don’t forget there is a mix of shops and restaurants for you to enjoy.

You have the choice of visiting the award-winning Cricklewood Coffee Roasters on Claremont Way, as well as trying mouth-watering woodfired pizza from Happy Face Pizza, a delicious pastry from Karma Bread Bakehouse or a hot panini or ice cream from Gussy’s Ice Cream Parlour.
