There’s Art in Barnet
April 9, 2025
Barnet Council has launched a campaign that celebrates the arts, culture, and heritage across the borough, including our very own neighbourhood, Brent Cross Town.
Barnet Council has worked with local artists and cultural groups to showcase over the next five weeks different arts and cultural activities, as well as venues across the borough. The campaign, called ‘There’s Art in Barnet’, highlights the creativity, talent, and heritage across the borough. From iconic venues like Phoenix Cinema and artsdepot to cultural gems like the Royal Air Force Museum and Barnet Museum, through to public art trails and 200+ green spaces, there’s something for everyone to explore. Watch this video to see what this campaign is all about.
At Brent Cross Town, we have a number of iconic art murals and installations that have transformed the area into a welcoming space for our existing and future community. Check out this art trail which helps you explore them. You can also read more about these installations, plus artwork in Brent Cross West station here.
As part of the campaign, we’re also listing together as many events happening in Barnet to make it easier for you to discover what’s on in your local area. Discover events and activities across the borough here, including at Brent Cross Town, and if you’re a group or organisation that runs social activities and would like to be listed on the Art in Barnet web pages, do get in touch at culture@barnet.gov.uk

We’re also excited to invite you to be part of Barnet’s new Cultural Action Group, where you can help shape the future of culture in the borough – if you’re interested in taking part, find out more here.
