Age-friendly workshop at Brent Cross Town
October 16, 2025
Join Brent Cross Town’s age-friendly Barnet Workshop to have your say on what’s important for you to age well in Barnet.
Age UK is an independent local charity working with and for older people across Barnet to serve and promote the interests of all older people in the borough, from all walks of life and ethnic communities.
Join us for an interactive morning on Wednesday 21 October where the Age UK team and staff from Related Argent will be sharing their plans for making Barnet, and specifically Brent Cross Town, a better place for people to age well in. Your experiences and aspiration for ageing well in Barnet will make a significant contribution to discussions. The event will run from 10am to 12.30pm at the Visitor Pavilion, 145 Claremont Road, NW2 1FE. Refreshments will be provided.
Booking is required for this event, and to book your place, email agefriendly@ageukbarnet.org.uk or leave a message on 073 7933 1807.
Retirement Village and Brent Cross Town
Did you know that Brent Cross Town will have 150 homes designed for later living, and a consultation for this was conducted last year.
The new retirement village (located at what is currently known as Plot 22) forms a part of Audley Group’s second Mayfield Village, the UK’s leading provider of Integrated Retirement Communities and Senior Living Investment Partners (SLIP). The homes are designed to expand current retirement living to a much wider audience, giving more people more choice over how and where they live as they get older.
Providing specialist homes for later living is also an important part of the Brent Cross Town’s, and the Brent Cross Cricklewood regeneration programmes overall commitment to create a new neighbourhood that ensures both existing and new residents can flourish.
Brent Cross Town is the neighbourhood at the heart of the Brent Cross Cricklewood regeneration programme, find out more about our vision on our webpages.
