Spruce & Larch
Café and eatery Spruce & Larch can be found inside the Visitor Pavilion and is one of the very first new businesses at Brent Cross Town welcoming and serving the community.
The locally run café serves delicious coffee, fresh pastries and sandwiches and has a collection of houseplants for sale in keeping with being environmentally friendly. You can also bring your furry friend as it is dog friendly, much to the delight of those that work there.
Spruce & Larch is open every day from 9am to 5pm.
Gussy’s Ice cream parlour
Outside of Claremont Way, at the heart of Claremont Park you will find the popular family-run parlour Gussy’s Ice cream parlour. Gus and his family are well known for their ice-cream in the Northwest London community, especially since Gus took over the family business and has been selling ice cream from his own ice cream van for more than 35 years.
Gus and his family were chosen to run the kiosk after a competition was hosted by Brent Cross Town to find a local business to operate from the park when it opened in June.
The parlour is open Tuesday to Friday from 3.15pm to 5.30pm and weekends 12 pm to 5.30pm. During half term it is open every day 12pm to 5.30pm and serve a range of delicious ice cream, hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and hot paninis.
Supporting local
Across the Brent Cross Cricklewood regeneration programme, we are proud to support both new and existing communities with at least 20% of people working across the Brent Cross Town and Brent Cross West developments from Barnet or the local boroughs Camden and Brent.
Whether we’re supporting local retailers like Cricklewood Coffee Roasters, Karma Bread and Gussy’s Ice Cream Parlour, entrepreneurs like Emma who runs the staff canteen at Brent Cross West, or recruiting local people in to roles at our venues, providing opportunities for local people is a top priority.
You can find out more about funding, training and job vacancies on our opportunities pages.
