Conductor House (Plot 12)
View work schedule
At Conductor House (previously known as Plot 12), 120 new homes have been built by Related Argent that provide replacement social housing for the Whitefield Estate residents of Whychcote Point, Clare Point and Norden Point as well as shared equity for former leaseholders. The building also welcomes new residents into shared ownership and London Living Rent homes.
The building is owned and managed by L&Q. It was one of the first buildings to be completed at Brent Cross Town.
The purpose-built 1, 2, 3 and 4-bedroom homes were designed by award-winning architects, Maccreanor Lavington and Whittam Cox. All homes have a private garden or balcony area, so residents have access to their own space, as well as a communal garden to enjoy with their neighbours. Popular Claremont Park is a stone’s throw away.
The new high street is the north of the building with three retail units on the ground floor of the buildings which will be part of the high street offer as the new neighbourhood continues to grow.
Conductor House is part of a larger residential quarter which includes four buildings offering homes to buy, homes to rent, and these homes for social rent, shared equity and shared ownership.
The building name was chosen after consultation with residents and links to local rail history in the area, with over 100 railway cottages along the half mile stretch of Brent Terrace. Together with Platform, Signal and Pullman, at Brent Terrace, the building names have purposely been chosen to retain a link between the former Whitefield Estate community.
